NOTES ON U7 DIVISION
- Teams will play 4-on-4 cross-ice format
- Team size requirement: 9-14 players, including goalies. Exception cases may be brought forward to the tournament committee.
- The format is designed to maximize puck touches and engagement for all players.
NOTES ON U9 DIVISION
- Teams must have a roster large enough to allow for two simultaneous 4-on-4 half-ice games, with players grouped by similar skill levels in an A/B format.
- Team size requirement: 16-20 players, including goalies. Exception cases may be brought forward to the tournament committee.
- The format is designed to maximize puck touches and engagement for all players.
Stay and Play Policy
The 2027 tournament is a Stay and Play event. Teams travelling from outside the Lower Mainland are required to stay at one of the tournament’s designated partner hotels.

Hotel booking information and the booking process will be provided to the team representative upon acceptance. A $500 Opt-out fee applies to teams that choose not to stay at one of the designated partner hotels.
FAQ
Who does the Stay and Play policy apply to?
All teams traveling from outside the Lower Mainland are required to participate in the Stay and Play program. Adherence to this policy is a condition of tournament acceptance.
Can our team stay somewhere other than a designated partner hotel?
Yes. Teams may choose to stay at accommodations other than a designated partner hotel; however, a $500 opt-out fee will apply.
When will we receive the hotel information?
A list of our designated partner hotels is coming soon. We will be sharing additional details, including booking instructions and reservation deadlines, in the coming weeks.
