We’re excited to kick off registration for our first full season as the Burnaby Female Ice Hockey Association (BFIHA)—Burnaby’s first dedicated all-girls hockey association! We proudly carry forward the legacy of the well-established Burnaby Wildcats program, offering fun, competitive hockey for girls of all ages and skill levels.
Returning Player Registration
Registration for BFIHA is anticipated to open for returning players on May 15th. All players who were Wildcats or with other BMHA teams last year will receive the $100 returning-player discount if they register by June 30th.
New Player Registration
We’re excited to welcome new players from Burnaby and New Westminster into the Wildcats community—now under the BFIHA banner! Registration for New Players will be open on May31st.
Spots Are Limited – Don’t Wait!
Space is limited and assigned first come, first served per division and level. Returning players are not guaranteed a spot, so register early!

A New Look, Familiar Structure
The BFIHA website and logo present a fresh look and we are excited to have a group of dedicated volunteer executives whose priority is to advance female hockey, but the day-to-day hockey will look and feel similar to what BMHA families are used to. BFIHA will use the same rinks and ice allocation guidelines as BMHA. Our new logo modernizes the Wildcat, but keeps the Burnaby tradition of maroon and white jersey colors. While not all jerseys will feature the new logo next season, we will gradually replace team jerseys with this fresh logo.
