As the Burnaby Female Ice Hockey Association (Wildcats) prepares for next season, we are excited to begin the coach application process for both the Rep “A” and the Recreational C divisions from U7 to U18. All interested coaching staff (returning and new coaches) must complete the application form below.
For our U7 & U9 and our Recreational “C” teams U11-U18, please submit applications by June 30th, 2026. If you have any questions about the C coach program please contact: coaching@burnabywildcats.ca
For our U11-U18 Rep “A” Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions, also submit a resume outlining your coaching experience by June 30th, 2026 to our Director of Coaching at: coaching@burnabywildcats.ca
For our Rep “A” coaches, we are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Minor Hockey Coaches to lead and develop our U11, U13, U15 & U18 Rep teams for the upcoming season. The ideal candidates will have a passion for coaching, a strong understanding of hockey fundamentals, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for young athletes.
For the Rep “A” head coach positions, coach stipends will be offered for non-parent coaches and will be negotiable, depending on coaching experience, commitment level required and our budget.
We also ask that you spread the word to friends and colleagues as we are always looking to add quality, caring and committed individuals at all levels.
We look forward to hearing from you and meeting and interviewing new aspiring coaches and also many returning ones.
